Lindsey sweetened our equipment when she came on board last year with her enviable sense of style, positive infectious attitude, and a sizable dose of Southern charm. When she is not crossing the Southeast making sure that the stores in her territories have everything they need, she is at her base, Knoxville, Tennessee, giving us all manicure envy with such works of art:

Without further ado, let us turn to Lindsey:

Hello, Mario Badescu Beauties!

I’m excited to share my # MBMy5 today. A little bit about me:

Working with Mario Badescu means spending my working days traveling all over the Southeast, in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and my home state of Tennessee. As any professional globe-trotter knows, plentiful travel can wreak havoc on your skin.

My skin type in one word: worried. Since I spend so much time flying, elevation and air conditioning leave my skin dry in the desert. On the other hand, anyone living in the South knows that the heat and humidity are unreal! Add in the sensitivity to hard ingredients and major acne tendencies, and you have the recipe for a skin care problem. Today I will chat about my skin care should rich, and how to keep my skin hydrated, clear and bright throughout the tumultuous southern climate.

Enzyme Cleansing Gel is my cleanser to go. I love the way this gets rid of my facial makeup while providing the smoothest AHA-based exfoliation. It smells like fresh fruit, thanks to papaya extract, and helps keep my skin clear of soft leaks.

The next, possibly most important, step in my regimen is the special cucumber lotion. Collect leftover makeup, oil and dirt from the surface of the skin while thoroughly cleaning my pores at the same time. The combination of sulfur and zinc oxide gives my skin additional treatment against acne, which is crucial for days with problems.

Once my skin is very clean, I often begin to feel dry. Between the herbal moisturizing serum. It is a water-based gel-serum that provides crucial moisturizing without leaving my fat area T. During my super dry days, I will layer this over my face directly under my moisturizer. On my oily days, I will use this to treat dry stains. Bonus Feature: Fondling this on the high points of my cheeks gives me the radiance from within with or without make-up!

Finding a moisturizer has always been a challenge of mine. As I mentioned, my skin is acne, so I have to be sure that the moisturizer is oil free, or I could run the risk of my sprouts spreading. Being Combination / Oil adds another complicated factor. Add my love makeup to the mix, and you have what looks like an impossible equation. The Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30 satisfies all these needs, while providing protection against sun damage (hello, alabaster complexion). I love that the formula is light and dries. I can apply my makeup directly after the moisturizer without any fear of slipping.

#MBSkinTip: In the colder months, I like to use Aloe Hydrating SPF 15 for deeper moisturizing.

A couple of times a week, I make time to draw a bath and relax. While my water is filling, I will apply the whitening mask. Years of bad skin habits left my skin uneven in tone and texture, and this is my secret weapon to help correct that. After using this mask regularly, I have seen a big difference in discoloration after the break-in, which provides the hydration my skin desperately needs! It is so light and soft, and only takes 5-10 minutes. Bonus added: smells blackberries!

Lastly, finding a skin care regimen that works for my picky skin has been a game changer. My makeup sits on my skin wonderfully and I feel much safer without makeup all together.

Thank you so much for taking the time to chat with me about # MBMy5! Be sure to come and visit us here in the South, where we like our skin as our tea: sweet, soft and best served all year round.
